“My scars remind me that I did indeed survive my deepest wounds. That in itself is an attainment. And they bring to mind something else, too. They remind me that the damage life has thrusted on me has, in many places, left me stronger and more resilient. What hurt me in the past has actually made me endowed to face the present.”
Resilience is the capacity to recover from difficulties. I make pieces that are durable, that is one of the reasons that I work in steel is durability. I have depicted my body with the vessel because of my personal childhood experience. When I was fourteen, I was diagnosed with a deadly disease with which I fought very strongly and firmly. Hence I have related myself with steel because of it's indestructibility. I have shown my fight and my struggle against that tough time with this strong material i.e "steel".
